Childs Ebooks for Intermediate Grades

I like a solid book in my hand. Turning the pages and looking to see how far I have read and how close I am to finishing the book. I prefer all of this to reading an e-book. 

But, this is the perfect time for an e-book. Click on the picture below for a lesson where I show grade 3 how to access our e-books. This would be a great lesson to watch if you are in grades 4, 5, and 6 and would like a review.

Emily Arrow has a specialty. She writes songs about beautiful picture books! Do you remember our Dot Day song? Emily wrote that song.

Be the hero of your story...

Everyone is being so fierce these days. The book, I Will Be Fierce!, written by Bea Birdsong and illustrated by Nidhi Chanani, shows so many examples of being fierce.

I am sure you have so many ways you have been this week. I love the sentence Bea, the author, writes..."I will be the hero of my story."

I love that sentence so much that I am going to say to you, Be the hero of your story. I know you can.
